You start off interpreting a targeted whine as a gripe against women in general, then proceed from there to greater heights of generalisation. In general, women are just as sexist as men. It's just that when you're the minority in a particular workplace, you get to see a lot more of the sexism from the people who are the majority in that workplace. Rude people of both genders will talk over someone else, partly because they're attention seeking, partly because they're trying to establish a pecking order, partly because they're just plain inconsiderate. Just talk right back over them: give it as good as you get it. Please check your female privilege at the door. Yes, that door that I'm holding open for you, not because you're a woman but because you happen to be close enough behind me that the door won't be closed by the time you get there if I let it go. Just remember that you catch more flies with honey than vinegar. Spend more time talking to the people who don't behave offensively. Make the attempts to laugh at the guy's sexist behaviour (and make it clear what you're laughing at) and take the conversation somewhere pleasant.
